Description: The Le Meridien Brand had just gone through a refresh. It had changed its design inspiration to be more aligned with it’s heritage of 1960’s France. The design team took inspiration from Graphic Design and Cinema during that time period. With this update the branded wanted to communicate to current owners and potential developers this design update through an entertaining way, without being too heavy handed.
Role: For this project I Art Directed / Assistant Creative Directed the entire spot from soup to nuts. I worked with the Le Meridien brand team to develop storyboards on how to communicate their brand to potential developers through the Le Meridien lens. In order to tie together a lot of different footage that had different looks I created a graphic title treatment shot from above depicting many of the different aspects of the Le Meridien brand. I also created a very simple yet 60s inspired text treatment to help tell the story without using voiceover. I also directed the edit to help tell the story of the brand in through lifestyle footage and actual property event footage.
